Review - LeMieux Ringers Overreach Boots

I am very excited to review these NEW LeMieux Ringers Overreach Boots which I picked up from Horse Health at Olympia, after literally being dropped off straight from the factory the day before! These are surprisingly cheap, with a NEW innovative design to increase durability, but look gorgeous at the same time!

First Impression - At first look, I thought that these boots looked a little odd! The rings on the bottom were something that I hadn't seen before with overreach boots, and I wasn't used to seeing rubber boots with fluff round them! But after a better look, I realised how well designed they were, perfect for hacking, dressage and jumping!

Sizing - These come up a little smaller than the Ballistic and faux leather overreach boots, so I would suggest to go up a size from what you would usually go for. Rambo and Custard would usually have a small pair, but instead I went for medium, which fitted both Rambo's chunky, and Custards delicate hooves well!

Features - Unlike your average rubber overreach boot, the top is lined with fur to eliminate any chances of rubbing. This was a definite bonus for me as I have always stayed well clear of rubber boots due to horror stories of them rubbing! The rings around the bottom, unique to this new style, provide extra durability and protection for overreaching. The fluff isn't too thick which makes it easier to wash without being ruined (I usually just power-hose them off after a muddy hack!) the rubber moulds to the heel of your horse when put on, making the extra good for jumping.

Put to the test - I decided to test this gorgeous boots on Rambo, due to him being a bit of an overreach boot murderer! This year alone he's already made his way through 5 sets of so called "tough" Overreach boots out on hacks and on a cross country course. For me, the price of these boots is amazing because they can be easily replaced if worst comes to worst! So I've hacked him for over two weeks, gone for jumping and dressage lessons and done various different types of fitness work, all in the Ringers Boots. I can officially confirm that they have held out well, after popping them in the washing machine, I feel like they could pass off as brand new! There isn't a single tear in the rubber and the fluff is still even and soft on both sides, even after being caked in mud due to the horrible weather isn't the last few days!

Overall - The perfect Overreach boots for every need!! For those people avoiding rubber boots due to rubbing, durability etc, look no further! I can safely say that you will not be disappointed in these, in fact, I've just ordered myself two more pairs so that I can use them all the time!

You can order these now at www.horsehealthco.uk for a very low price of only £12.95 and next day delivery.
