An Outfit A Day
For the past two or so years, my ponies have had to put up with my dressing them up in all sorts of outfits! My matchy set obsession began when my dressage trainer gave me a Lemieux raspberry saddlepad for my birthday, thus starting a long line of matching items that I decided I needed. My collection has slowly built up until the point where I now own an outfit for at least every day of the week, soon to be every day of the month! Personally, I think that everyone should have a little bit of matchy in their lives, even if it is just your top and overreach boots. I thought I would give everyone a bit of matchy inspiration, just to give you that little extra push into buying possibly you first ever set! Trust me…it’s worth it!
MONDAY
We have to start the week of really with an old favourite – Benetton Blue. I was given this set for christmas last year and honestly, no collection can be complete without it! Personally I love the support boots because it’s super nice to just be able to chuck them on rather than faffing with bandages. The gorgeous bright blue goes with pretty much everything and is a perfect set to use for lessons as it’s smart but not too bold. I also use the support boots with more conservative coloured pads such as brown and white just to give them a bit of extra colour. Benetton blue is also available as an overreach boot if you want to go full out matchy! You can purchase this set using the links below. (We usually use the matching signature fly hood as well).
TUESDAY
Who says boys can’t wear pink?? My first EVER set and i chose to make my geldings suffer with raspberry. This isn’t any usual pink though…I am in love with this particular shade, it’s so deep and stands out perfectly on a bay coat! The suede saddle pad makes it even more gorgeous as its so soft to the touch and I personally think it looks nicer! At this point, LeMieux did not stock raspberry ears and so I had to make do with black ones for the time being! I put this set with my black leather look sheepskin overreach boots, however now, pink bell boots are available to complete the look! You can purchase this set using the links below.

WEDNESDAY
It took me a while to decide whether i would buy the beige set as I wasn’t sure whether it would suit a bay. I had seen it look stunning on greys, but i just wasn’t sure! Eventually i decided to just go for it, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! This set is super smart but also stands out in a very subtle way. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it for a lesson or a training day – stand out and get noticed!! I also promise that beige does suit every colour, including chestnuts and duns! I put this set with the black leather look sheepskin overreach boots again, however, had I had the funds, I would have paired it with brown instead to match the straps on the bandages and I also would have purchased the support boots to go with them instead of bandages, especially as they are quicker to put on before a lesson. THURSDAY
When i bought this set, I was hoping that it would turn Rambo into the renowned Valero, who has the nickname blueberry. After thoroughly putting the set though it’s paces, unfortunately I have to conclude that it did not have such results, however he did look pretty in the process! As soon as blueberry came out, I was pretty obsessed with buying it, and even managed to pre order it because I was so excited. It has definitely lived up to expectations and I love how the purple isn’t too dark but also isn’t a wishy washy colour and would suit every horse! You can purchase this set using the links below.

FRlDAY
One of my all time favourites – peacock! This colour is literally perfection and looks incredible on any colour horse at all! I especially love this set during winter, for some reason it seems to go well with the scenery and looks gorgeous peeking through the mist on a chilly morning. Anyone and everyone should have this set – you really cannot go wrong! You can purchase this set using the links below.

Plum is a pretty awesome colour. It’s somewhere between bright and smart, colourful but doesn’t shock anyone! Plum was originally released in one of the old collections, was then discontinued and reintroduced this season due to high demand! It very almost became one of the most wanted sets in the year or so that it was gone which has really just fuelled the love for it! You can’t go wrong with this set, especially as it now comes with ears to match! You can purchase this set using the links below.

SUNDAY
Finally…burgundy! This smart and subtle set could make any horse or pony look like a dressage superstar! I have had so many comments in the past about how lovely this set looks on. I love the big square/vogue version but it is now unfortunately only available in the usual style. One of the big perks is of course that support boots are available to match, making it just that little bit more appealing! This set can be purchased using the links below.
